Project Overview

Fly ash may be a fine, glass‐like powder recovered from gases created by coal‐fired power generation. ash material is solidified while suspended within the exhaust gases and is collected by electrostatic precipitators or filter bags. Since the particles solidify while suspended within the exhaust gases, ash particles are generally spherical in shape and direct size from 0.5 µm to 100 µm.
